Summer Sailing School in Malinska: An Adventure for the Whole Family!

Sailing Club Malinska is opening its doors to sailing enthusiasts of all ages! We invite all interested children, parents, grandparents, guardians, and adult lovers of this sport to join our Summer Sailing School.
Enrollment in the school:
Date: June 24, 2024 Time: 10:00 AM Location: In front of the Interpretation Center of Maritime Heritage DUBoak Additional: For those who cannot come on June 24, late enrollment is also possible.
Sailing school program:
The Summer Sailing School is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to learn the basics of sailing and develop the necessary skills to operate sailboats in the Optimist and Laser classes.
The program includes:
Introduction to sailing: Basics of sailing, safety protocols, introduction to the sailboat, knot tying, introduction to winds and behavior at sea. Practical exercises – training: Sailing a sailboat at sea, racing with other sailing school students.

Development of key skills: Through training, participants will strengthen their self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, and decision-making skills. Enjoying nature and fresh sea air: Sailing offers a unique way for children to connect with nature, explore the sea, and enjoy the sun and fresh air. Making new friends: Participants will meet children with similar interests during the Sailing School and make new friendships that will last a lifetime. Path to sporting success: The Summer Sailing School can be a stepping stone to future sporting successes.
Summer Sailing School for Adults:
Sailing Club Malinska also offers a unique opportunity for adults to learn to sail through the Summer Sailing School!
The five-day afternoon program will be led by experienced trainer Vido Kraljić, who will introduce you to the basics of sailing and ensure that you gain confidence at sea. Whether you have sailing experience or not, this school is the perfect opportunity to broaden your horizons and learn skills that will stay with you for a lifetime.
