From 2023, the traditional art of traditional sailing with Latin and square sails along the Croatian coast has been recognized as intangible cultural heritage, registered in Croatia’s Cultural Heritage Registry. This success is the result of the dedication of individuals, associations, and cultural institutions that protect and transmit this heritage to generations, often through regattas. “Homo na jidra,” the fifth event of its kind this year, brings together the family of traditional Adriatic vessels, ensuring the future of our traditional sailing.
The Tourist and Municipal Boards of Malinska-Dubašnica, the Interpretation Center of Maritime Heritage – DUBoak, the Malinska Sailing Club, and the Termen Association are the joint organizers of the sailing regatta “Homo na jidra.”
